Electricity is a fundamental asset without which modern civilization simply could not exit. It provides us with heat, light and hot water, and it runs all kinds of tools and domestic appliances that we have come to rely on in our everyday lives Electricity is vital to our high-speed world, and there is a growing global demand for energy but also for reduced strain on the environment.

This is where wind power comes into the picture. Sometimes strong, sometimes soft, the wind is always powerful. It is an inexhaustible source of energy that advanced wind technology transforms into electric power silently, efficiently and without polluting the environment at all.

In fact, the absence of pollution was the main reason for starting the wind power movement in the first place as an ideological demonstration in favours of the environment and against the unnecessary exploitation of resources. Then come the oil crisis, and the world change dramatically. In depth research was carried out, and considerable investment energy. And indeed, the wind energy business has come a long way since the first wind turbines were launched as an environment friendly alternative to conventional power station.

The environment aspect is, of course, still valid. The environment needs all the help it can get, and using wind turbines to generate electricity produces no greenhouse gases at all. But the political angle is no longer the only issue. Years of research and development have turned wind turbines into regular power plant that are capable of competing on equal terms with conventional power station both economically and form the point of view of production. Today, the wind power industry is therefore a thriving business in its own right and Siva is a proud representative. We are ready to take our activities to an even higher plane in the 21 st century because we can, and because the world needs it.
